Hello I'm new!

Currently in Banff on a ski holiday. Kind of failed to book anywhere to eat tonight.... Safeway closed, Maccas closed and so my Christmas dinner consisted of Kellogs Rice Krispies!

Claimed!

(sorry, old habits die hard)

Ban tbh.

Worst Christmas dinner fail I had was to have full blown flu. My ex had to cook and didn't want to. My father was there and her mum and dad were invited. I was passing out on the couch getting prodded and shouted at while the kids ran amok :(
Sure I can laugh about it now but what I would have given then to be healthy and on a skiing holiday with some rice crispies for dinner :p

The bottom oven on my cooker has a nasty habit of blowing out if you slam the door (luckily it has a decent safety mechanism so it doesn't sit there venting gas).
Needless to say the meal was placed on hold for a while until the oven had recovered and finished off cooking the roasties.

That, and the really crappy cake from iceland (yeah, I know) that was 3/4's fresh air, when we cut into it it deflated like a really bad soufflé.

Otherwise, a cracking meal.

There was a rash of claiming newcomers as their slaves way back when, much like the pasty smashing craze that has recently calmed down.
The dons decided to outlaw such behaviour.

I had a chocolate muffin and tea for breakfast, spag bol with garlic bread for dinner and tacos for a night time snack. Good times.

I forgot to take the turkey joint out of the freezer today - so we had to do a roast potatoes + veggie ensemble. Worked out very well actually, we'll do the turkey tomorrow instead, no harm no fowl! or should that be the other way around!!

we did have a nice day though, how's about you peeps? hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
