How many domains do you own?

Thought this might be quite interesting to see who are kings of online real estate, but no shameless plugs in this thread unless you chose to.

I own 8, equivalent to these:

5 x .co.uk
1 x .com
1 x .me
1 x .eu

The .eu, .me and .com are all relevant to different projects I have in mind, the .co.uk's back them up, and the last two .co.uk are an old domain and my name found by googling me (not forum name).

How many do you have? Name them if you're that way inclined, but don't self-promote.

Just one (a .co.uk), which I had for years. The main reason for it is so I can have an email address that doesn't change if I move ISPs.

I'm thinking about getting another for somewhere online to display my photography.

9 at the moment:

3x different .co.uk's
1x .net (paradigital.net)
1x .com

And one domain with .net .com .co.uk and .eu - This one will become my company name, once the business plan is fully established and all partners are onboard.

13 i'm told, all registered by vidahost for next to nothing :)

5 .co.uk
2 .net
2 .org
4 .com

the only reason i have .org and .net is because i don't want anyone to be able to steal the same name but just different url. i don't bother registering anything more then these 4 unless i find a good reason to like with .it names e.g. www.ilove.it etc but i'll probably never bother with .me.uk

Think I have about 50 total. Probably half .co.uk, then the rest a mixture of .com/.net/.org.

I was in the market for a 1 character domain on a ccTLD (.nu still had these available up until a few months ago for ~£500 per year, for example), but I couldn't justify it.

holy smokes, £500 per year! do you mind saying what it was you had? at £500 the registering company must have been making a fortune.

edit: ah just seen you were looking for one,but didn't have one, silly me. i can see why at £500

.it have strict registry requirements - you have to fill in a form in italian and fax it off to the italian registry. :o

.me.uk is surprisingly good for cool domains - you can still get quite a few good short ones. If you just need a domain for personal email (e.g. google apps) then a .me.uk can make a decent choice. :)

I was close to pressing the buy button on 9.nu :o Not that it's particularly good, just that it seemed interesting.

The problem with the registry fee being ~£500 per year was that they could just have easily put the price up to £5k if they wanted to - I would have either had to suck it up and pay it to keep the domain or decide to let it expire. That's the problem with some of the obscure registries - you know that the price for .uks or .coms won't rocket randomly on a whim... but some of the internet registries of obscure nations make them a lot of money, so if they're in tough times they could just as easily double the registration/renewal price. :o

.org - Personal site and email
.name - OpenID
.com - My real name
.com - Old personal site, going to let it expire

I've got 82 domains currently showing in my Client Area, some are the same domain but of different permutations eg .com, .co.uk, .net etc.

Not all have websites associated with them, most have email accounts set up and some were purely speculative purchases.

That's quite a lot of cash outgoing in a year, are you gaining any income from parking them or just suffering?

I own http://foiled.eu, bought on a whim for 97p, and I have no idea why, I'll just let it expire before I have to renew at £15p/a lol :p
