What makes you think there aren't already higher than normal (ie pre-industrial era) levels of base elements in our supplies already thanks to deep sea dumping and all the rest of the mis-managed waste control going on around the world?

This is old news and researchers have not suggested that lithium be added top water. :p

I wonder what the first conspiracy of 2010 will be. :D
 
Doesn't lithium react rather violently with water? You wouldn't be drinking lithium, you'd be drinking lithium hydroxide.
