I'm rather late to the online image hosting party and would like ocUK to help me find the best website to use :D

Now the most famous name at the minute must be Flickr, but is it any good?

What about Photobucket, another big name but am I missing any other less famous, more flexible alternatives?

What do you use and why? :)

All the best,

Danny

It depends what you're wanting to host the images for. If you plan on sharing your images with friends, etc. the Flickr works well because of the gallery type view. But for general image hosting, linking, then there's no better than TinyPic

Cheers for the suggestions guys :)

I'm looking to use it for uploading photos from my phone/laptop/PC to store in the cloud. This will avoid losing data in hard drive crashes and also allow easy posting to forums etc. Win win! :D

I notice both Flickr and Photobucket allow unlimited storage capacity, Hi res hosting and other benefits for $25 a year. Does tiny pic offer this kind of service?

Keep the replies coming folks
