Go onto youtube, look up "applesoldier" and have a laugh at his latest vid entitled "pc gaming going away for consoles".

This inbred redneck cracks me up with his bs.

Just another usual PC/Windows hater.

I swear that some of these people "hate" PCs/Windows simply for the sake of disliking them, its the "cool" thing to do. Like hating Man Utd or World of Warcraft. They bend facts , concentrate on negatives and ignore the positives completely, anything to attempt to get their point across. Primarily thats their aim, to get their point across...to make as many people as possible say "wow...I am totally wrong, you are totally right and have been all along ! You're so much better than I am". They write posts, write blogs, stand and rant at you whenever possible, make videos... anything that might help them force their point onto you. Anything to self justify their own opinions and thoughts by getting you to say those magic, orgasm inducing words "you're right. I'm wrong". I imagine this is how David Koresh started out.

I actually work with a guy like this, he really hates Windows. Every single day (no exaggeration, it really is every day, usually several times every day) , he goes off on a rant at work about how much better Linux is than windows... how horrible Windows is, how insecure it is, how awful microsoft are, how anyone who rates windows is a fool... and so on and so on.

What he doesnt appear to realise is that everyone at work has become so fed up with it, so tired of hearing it over and over again that whenever he opens his mouth now we all just switch off. He has become the work joke, almost a parody of himself.

If one system does what you want better than everything else, what's the problem?

If you want to play games, as the guy in the video does, Windows is pretty much where it's at.

He does but they're so annoyingly put across and so lopsidedly balanced that he's not worth listening to.

For example, were I to argue with this person that I could quite happily hook my PC up to my HDTV and play the latest GFWL titles with an xBox controller and see the games in proper high definition, instead of the lower resolutions outputted by both the xBox and PS3, I doubt very much he would listen. An argument with the wall would be more fruitful.

Every system has it's good and bad points, but fanboys are blinkered to only see the good in their favoured system and only the bad in everything else.

Same here, except mine bangs on about how fantastic MACS are.
