For me it would probably be Scribblenauts, such a cool idea but failed in execution.

Prototype.I was looking forward to it from when it was first announced.When it did come out it was ok but quite boring after a while and very frustrating.

Dragon rising for me. COOP was some of the best fun I've had on xbox live but with a terrible MP the potential was wasted.

Might not be the most popular choice, but MW2

Over priced, over hyped, 5 hours single player, completely bugged multiplayer, great.

hmm, i'm struggling. I was going to say World at war but that was november 2008 release

I guess it would have to go to Ghostbusters. I was expecting a fun game, but i ended up with a game I got bored of and never finished playing.

For me it has to be Wolfenstein. I wasn't expecting it to be great, but I enjoyed the demo only to find that the rest of the game was dire

Also agree with Fat Princess - blame Skippi90 for making me buy it...

FP ended up like it did because of launch issues. Once they were fixed, it was a decent game. I still play it occasionally.

), I didnt think much of it despite the narrating being good (Steven Fry?) and some good online levels people have uploaded.

I cant really think of any for 2009, I dont really hype games up and I only tend to buy games I know I'll like.
