Islamic protest march planned for Wootton Basset

Oh for the love of God, don't start that again.

This is about mentalists, not religion. This breed just happens to be religious mentalists.

You're right. They are extremists just like the evangelical Christians in the US. Obsessed by religion. Not aware of many other groups that like blowing themselves up though.

This is a minority, yet again. There will be Muslims who agree, and many who disagree with the site, just like the extremists in all religions. I mean, the site peeps are looking a little too much in the future for my liking :(

"One very real possibility that we envisage could occur in Britain when it succumbs to Islamic rule is for Buckingham Palace to be converted into a beautiful mosque"

There's even a picture of how the site owners believe how Buckingham Palace WILL look like...

yeah, the west have killed and done far worse things than the Muslims. though i personally think it's a horrible religion.

point is they are just bitter about it.. in their eyes the funeral is almost a kick in the teeth for them

I am gob smacked...
the people of WOOTTON BASSETT should be given a medal for showing such respect
My son is going to Afghanistan next // well this year..
And if he was to come back in that way i would be truly honored for such a greeting from these people
.

Big guns > fundamentalists

IM not normally a violent person but i would take up arms against these ********* without thinking

I'm suprised they have the balls to protest in Wootton Basset, could they have a picked a more unsuitable spot?

Anyone remember how the Homecoming parade for that Regiment ended last time these dillusional fools tried to use 'free speech' to protest? I bet it will end up with about 5 of them turning up surrounded by Police to stop people with a bit of sense from causing them grevious bodily harm.

I don't think that many folks think that these folks are representative of most muslims, they are just idiots who want to cause tensions, I don't think religion is a genuine part of any of it

They have a point, in that a lot of muslims have been killed in intentional or unintentional action by the 'West'.

However they should be protesting in London (outside Whitehall or US Embassy) shouldn't they? By choosing Wootton Basset they are clearly trying to upset people and cause trouble, which is not going to go down well. :(

So does Tefal.

Today's incident...

Best edit your post.

Ah, ninjaed.
:D yea whatever.. but its a sure fire way of turning people against the muslim people..
i for one dont have issues with them, ive got many friends who are muslim but i dont know any that would agree with this BS

So, let me get this straight. They are protesting in an area commonly used to honour dead brave soldiers because they are annoyed that people have been killed by the very enemy they died fighting???

They make it out as if the men of the British Army are responsible for the deaths of innocent Muslim men women and children.

They not heard of rules of engagement? Or even looked into what these brave people are doing out there?

Idiots.

The disgrace is that an extremist minority group within Islam has taken a reasonable concern about civilian deaths in Afghanistan and are attempting to use it to push an agenda of hatred. People are right, this sort of demonstration is best suited to the capital, unfortunately protesting is banned with a half-mile of Parliament (although this should be repealed soon: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/new...tests-outside-Parliament-will-be-allowed.html). The demonstration would also be more successful if it was protesting against all violence in the region, whether perpertrated by Extremists or Western Forces.

Even if only a handful of muslim extremists show up, you can be sure that the Far-right and other groups of that ilk will take advantage of the demo and make a bad situation far worse.
