Getting laid is the thing to do then? Great...!?

Is there anybody that was having similar feelings and said remedy worked for them? It does sound like the perfect cure though.

I feel your pain.

Realistically I don't think you can be friends with someone in this sort of situation - seeing her is just going to be painful. Break all contact, meet up with non-mutual friends, exercise lots and fill up your time with getting out and about.

I imagined it would be Paul Simon as the PS, for no other reasons than they are/were both musicians. Disappointing when reality doesn't match the imagination.

Unfortunately time is about the only thing that is likely to lead to diminishment of feelings, distance, lack of contact and other things to keep you occupied can all help to a degree but they're simply an aid to time. There's no simple cure that works for everyone, if there was I'd bottle it and sell it, making me at least 20 whole pence in the process.
