**Post Your I7 Idle temps Here:)

^^^ could you make that screenie any bigger?!?!

Also, are you saying your idle temps are 6, 10, 3, 8 across the cores?

I find that hard to believe... something's definitely wrong there imo...

Couldnt be arsed resizing!

Yes it is that temp across the lot. Its colder at 4.2Ghz. I use a flash cooler on the water.

will be easyer to show you a pic.

In a nutshell, Compresser cooling antifrezze, then the Pc coolant pump through the pipes and it cools it to about -4 (does this twice) then into the water block.

Full load @4.2Ghz 14.16.15,15 4.4Ghz 21,22,20,23
Works very well and they only cost about £100 from ebay. loads cheaper than Phase.

You will never belive what they are ment tobe use for :)

You drink beer ? They are used to cool your pint of fosters :)

They are only like a fridge, they run falt out for 2 hours then they just switch on and off as needed. Not sure about the running cost but i havent seen a massive change in the bills.

This one i have i doesnt make a sound, well a bit but nothing to bad prob same as a CPU cooler and a fan.

My temps. Not bad but gather my comp may need a dust. It's been about a month. Setup as sig. H50 Corsair - I know, I know... it's a poor man's watercooling haha

Got a third Nvidia card for PhysX - seen GPU temps rise a bit but just stick headphones on and blast fans to very noisey, i.e. 75%.

Please excuse the little bit at the bottom - have to have that for PhysX to work

BTW, Nice rig You've got There :)
Is the Corsair Cooler any good?
Because im Still using the stock heat sink and , im limited to a 3.2GHZ Overclock?

I might have to look further into this cooling method Danny, I'd love to have my chip running as cool as yours.

I'm curious as to how it's plumbed into your loop though, I don't suppose you have any pics of your setup?

Also, regarding fittings onto the unit, are you able to use any fittings you wish, or does the unit have to be modded to take standard G1/4 threaded fittings?

Very good. I am glad I went with this and not the Noctura-thingy. This is easily cleaned but does attract dust. Clean it once a month and everything else.

Not a bad price either

A bit more info here here and here mate - very interesting :D

Would be very interested to know the heat dump from one of these :)

I think I'm sold on the beer chiller thing. That is awesome.

If you put it in a series loop which also has a radiator in, the radiator will fight it when below ambient temperatures so condensation can't be an issue. It'll result in water temperatures between current load temps and ambient, with a dial to choose which end you want it at. Hell yes. Do I have to buy it from ebay?

Better still if the fans on radiators are intake, it will blow cold air into the computer so motherboard/psu and so forth will be happier.
