Is this really that bad weather? I seem to remember it always being really snowy around Christmas time when I was little. I'm 25 so not talking about back in the 18 hundreds either.

It depends where you are in the country. Snow hasn't gone since we had the first flake some 3 weeks ago and It has rarely gone above 0c with a low of -14c, -18c just down the road. The most we have had in Aberdeenshire in the last 10 years is maybe a week and a half/2 weeks tops of bad weather like this.

Look like London going to repeated bad snow as last year! But here, not much snow! Forecaster say on Sky weather, rain, ITV weather, sleet and BBC weather, Snow, BBC midlands weather, Snow and local newspaper, Sleet or Rain.

All saying different! Who can I trust ? No - ones!

Snowing again in Stoke. The roads were clearing and the pavements had turned into ice plains but now it's white and fluffy again!

Just been pricing up a ski holiday and now really looking forward to more snow. Been imagining a snowy white cliffs scene as i'm sailing over the channel.

EDIT: BOOOOOOO! I just checked metcheck again, wednesday has gone from 4-6" of snow to less than 1". :mad:

Keep your eye on the metoffice radar for precipitation, looks like your gonna have a lot more.

I woke up like 10 tem mintues ago, looked out and went, booo! cos we have no more snow. Having just checked the radar, its late but the cloud mass has grown considerably since midnight.

Its gonna hit close to the getting up/ rush hour time here, ouch!

Been snowing heavily down here and it's easily 4-5" outside right now!

Not much on the groud but it only just started snowing at that time!
