SM scores are the shader scores, you should run vantage as it gives a better indication of GPU performance than mark06 does. Your 06 score is very good though.

18698 what was the OC on that card?
I only got 18475 from a 5970 Oc to 1029.92/1303.97
Think someone got Photoshop for xmass!!!!

Nah, I have 18575 from my 5850 and that was run with the earliest drivers and only 1040/1300.

I haven't re-run it for ages and some of the driver updates seem t have added up to 1000 points in vantage so his score is easily acheivable.

Now I have my 5850 watercooled I reckon I could do a run at 1100/1300 with the right drivers an beat it.

Point is, it's your system scoring appauling low only getting 18475 with a 5970 overclocked.

You are only just scoring more than 5770 in xfire on here. :confused:

Well this is the only forum i have seen scores like that.TBh i will trust the others and the normal site i use. I will never belive that a single 5850 will get over 18k on performance settings.

There is one or two @20k but can bet a pound to pinch of **** they are WC and OC to the max. All the others are xfire.

Nvm dont care that much. Feal free to claim what you like.But ppl with half an idea can see its a crock!!!

O just for the record just incase you are mixed up the over all score for Vantage is 20178 ( 18475 GPU and 27291 )

Beleive what you want. I also enter hwbot and my 5850 is way behind being the fastest especially since I only have a q9650 compared to the i7's

My best until I got bored, 18575 as I linked above.

Here is the certified result on HWbot and that is at 1070/1300

And that is 193rd on the hwbot results for a 5850 so there are 192 people with faster 5850 who have bothered to submit to hwbot.

That probably means there are 1000 people in the world with a faster vantage score than my 5850.

Not sure which forum you normally look at but they are pants at getting the best from their hardware.

Also your setup is wrong. I've just looked on orb and most 5970 get around 25000 with the gpu in performance which is about right. Your 5970 must be about at the bottom of all submissions to orb?

The numbers are about when i tested a 5870.

What drugs are you on? You stated that your result is for a 5970 and your sig says you have one yet later claim you are only comparing a 5870?????

1. An overclocked 5850 will beat a 5870 easily and both of them overclocked equally there will be little in with vantage and can be wiped out by choice of cpu (overclocked) and/or drivers.

2. You stated that a 5850 will never score higher than 18k on performance yet I gave you link to hwbot which shows over 300 single 5850's doing exactly that??????

3. Who cares about your forum for people who can;t even beat other computers in benchmarks when they are overclocked and the rest are at stock. lol
 
The 5870 59 was a typo. The results i was talking about was a 5870.
