just woke up...WOW! Really, there's so much here in Bradford its unbelievable! Never seen so much....AND ITS STILL CONTINUING! (Can't see well in the picture) No one is driving either -I found it hard enough on Saturday when there was a bit of ice left and I was heading up the steep hill just down the road in the woods and the car started to roll back but JUST managed to get it up Now? The road off our street hasn't been gritted - Impossible!
Wow some places really got it heavy. It was snowing consistently throughout the night in Liverpool, but the snow turned to sleet at times so its not as thick and fluffy, more like mushy ice.
Yes quite right, Heaton, with Heaton woods opposite there! Oh damn! I need to get to Asda in Shipley, and on a good day take 40 mins to walk there where abouts in Shipley are you?
typicall though. Have 3 plumbers here this week installing gas central heating who today cannot get and appointment at hospital at 3pm for wisdom tooth out dont think I will make that (maybe a silver lining there!)
On top of that was needing to get to work and not sure if I will bother getting onto the roads in this.
I cleaned all the snow off of my car not 20 minutes ago. Now it is covered again.
Not bad photos saying it was done on a BlackBerry!
It stopped snowing for 30 minutes here and looked like the clouds were going to break up, but the heavens have now opened and its snowing again!!!!!!!!!!!
About 3 inches of snow here, and more heavily pouring down at the mo in Wetherby (in between Leeds, York & Harrogate). I doubt I'll be able to travel at all today, if not for the next few days if it continues like this.
Hope it does in Bristol, it's been forecast to snow all day from midday and through tomorrow night now I've got a week off so have got nowhere to go hehe.
