Tell me about it. That's only 4 or 5 miles from us although it was'nt quite that much. Still snowing here now. Been almost non-stop since yesterday and more forecast. At least it's warmed up as it's only -1.2 degrees outside now.

Pathetic? I'm in Salford and to be honest the people driving around on the roads this morning are idiotic - the vast majority of them have little to no control over their vehicles. I've seen vans wildly fishtailing across the road. Cars sliding into one another on roads with next to no incline. There are places where nearly 12 inches of snow has piled up - does this sound like a normal winters day?

The trams are all cancelled.
Most of the busses are cancelled.
The internation airport is closed.

Whats your problem?

I don't know about him, or you, but I was born with a pair of things called "feet". They have been known to carry me to places that cars can't reach...

What is pathetic is some peoples complete and utter reliance on cars and mechanical transport.
