What is pathetic is some peoples complete and utter reliance on cars and mechanical transport.

The thing is, these days, a hell of a lot of people don't live in the same city as they work, let alone close enough to safely walk.

Then to be honest move house, or move jobs.

Anyway not being able to get to work is not being snowed in. The only people that may be snowed in with that sort of depth is people on top of hills miles away from anyone as I bet most people are within walking distance of their loca shopping area (1 hours walk).

Met Office has a flash warning in place for London and the home counties. Could be up to 40cm of snow tonight. :eek:

Except Herts where it's predicted only around 10cm.
