It's snowing

Been great here in Manchester, they shut the Arndale centre at 3:30 and sent people home

Going to work this morning at 7 was brilliant, really deep fresh snow and got the opportunity to help out a few cars stuck on a small hill just down from Victoria station.



Those cars on the hill at the bottom all had their hazards on and they were pushing 1 car at a time half way up the hill, that large lorry was just having hell of a time, I think he gave up in the end.

I've never seen snow this bad in my lifetime, it's nearing 8 inches in parts around here and no sign of stopping.

It took me an hour to walk a mile to work, only for us to be sent home.

Walked in today as I couldn't open the garage door to get the bike out, but I'm definitely taking the mountain bike to work tomorrow - should be great fun

Do what i did last year and almost flatten the tyres! I had 3.5 " DH tyres on my MB and removed most of the air! it was like a tank then, i could ride it anywhere in the thick snow
