It's snowing

Sod this. If Osama wants to grind this country to a halt, forget bombers - just chuck a ton of snow our way!

I'm talking about the nutters who pull out ski's, ice skating boots and even hovercrafts when the slightest bit of snow starts falling. These are the same people who get their canoes and boats out when there is a few inches of rain.

I went snowboarding on the local golf course last night - 200m slope - longer than chill factor in Manchester but the walk back up the hill was a PITA - only did about 8 runs.
 
Measured in the garden this morning and it was at 9 inches. It's still snowing and it's getting heavy again. That's Reading, Berkshire.

Where in the valleys dude? Up in Treorchy its a bit bad on the side streets.
Made the mistake of trying to get to work :rolleyes: Now im bored out of my skin and no sign of being sent home due to some main roads being passable..

Well that looks the end of the snow here, 2 inches and just a couple of showers more predicted for the rest of the week. :( Just goes to show how localised the showers are as people about 20 miles away apparently have 3-4 inches... :(

Around my way it just looks like it's going to be a slightly colder than average winter, so much for harsh weather...
 
Soooooo pleased. Cant get in to work and have coursework to do, only a small bit but can do it quick and enjoy a day off paid :D
 
Tell you what god must have had one hell of a w***, white is falling from the skys still since 2:30am this morning.
 
Saw my neighbour out with a shovel and brush earlier, thinking he was going to clear the driveway to get the car out the garage, but he just cleared a small path which just leads to the snow :confused:
