In what order should I play these games?

Bioshock in the middle as it's quite different from the other two.

Don't know why so many people are ripping into CD4. They should go make a video of themselves punching a wall and/or crying or something!

For those who said they found Crysis repetitive, didn't you find Bioshock repetitive as well? The only thing that changed was the admittedly beautiful artwork, for the most part it was just take elevator thing, find some new person and do something pretty much irrelevant to the overall story to please them and continue.

How can people be "meh" about crysis? I played it as a stealth game and it's probably the most fun I've had in a single player game.

Crysis is just a technical demo. It was fun for a bit with the powers and then it got very boring. The stupid Alien bit where you're floating around was a nightmare. I still completed it but it was a very, very average game. Take away the graphics and the game has no real substance.

Worth playing all of them, if you have to choose then maybe this order:

1) CoD4:MW - great cinematic experience, should only take you around 4-6 hours to play through, so could be done on a single non-working day.
2) Bioshock - not the best game ever but has it's moments especially once you get past the somewhat slow start and start getting some decent upgrades
3) Crysis - save it to last as it is the most demanding on hardware, you may have upgraded by then.

COD 4 is a great little SP so i woudl go with that first. And then do MW2 straight after :P

Crysis is good but i got annoyed quickly with how crap the weopons are e.g. you can empty a whole clip into a japs face and they're still standing (i may be exagerating but you get the point).

Havn't played Bioshock, i think i should tho.

That's just my point though, it really really isn't. There is so much game there, it could look like crap and it would stay be brilliant :D

Too right you're exaggerating. Like I say I played the game mostly creeping around with my gun set to shoot one bullet at a time, one bullet in the head is all you need to kill someone.

I'm another one that thought Crysis was fantastic. I enjoyed it so much I beat it on the hardest setting. Normally I just get annoyed or board with games but that never happened with Crysis.

I just love all the cunning ways I could take people out. hehe

CoD 4.

The other 2 whichever you fancy afterwards, they are good looking games, but they only gave me 1 run through.

Thank you to all for posting. :)

I've read through what everyone thinks of the games and there's some very interesting comments regarding the pros and cons of each.

I bought Bioshock and CoD when they were released but just never got round to playing them. I don't know why really when I was looking forward to each. As for Crysis, well, I never really had a PC that could play it to any sort of decent level of quality and didn't want to **** myself off with just how outdated my system was getting, but I should be ok now and with it being on offer on Steam over the xmas period I just couldn't resist the price it was going for.

To work out some way of ordering the games (I really should find something useful to do with myself :o) I've just decided to keep it simple and add up everyone's votes as to which one each person thinks should be the first game I play. Here's the result...

CoD4:MW = 11 votes to play first.
Bioshock = 3 votes to play first
Crysis = 6 votes to play first.

So the winner is CoD:MW with nearly double the votes of Crysis, which surprised me tbh with all the hype Crysis got (and still gets). I have heard that the single player of CoD:MW is excellent so I'm looking forward to playing it and it'll be interesting to compare it to Crysis (when I finally get around to playing that).

Thanks again for all your comments, much appreciated. :)
