i like the bad romance song but the person is the type i hate sort of like the person who you get in bigbrother thats so desperate for fame youve probably seen them on 20 other tv shows at some point like simon cowell

Or just smart enough to realise that being a popstar is about more than just the music - you have to stand out - heck most of them can barely sing.

All you need to do is put on some weird clothes and makeup, offend some old ladies and watch the money roll in.

Probably because she's shoved in our faces quite often it forces people to strike back with negative comments? I unno, but I watched an interview with her and she seems like a decent, although a bit...insane person.
She's actually a good singer aswell, I was quite shocked.

Oh lord, I better go put on a dress and listen to Celine dion, masculinity has evaded me it seems.

I think it's great that she wears these out of the ordinary outfits. We're all very boring, going about in the most average and similar clothes. We've been conditioned to it, but we can wear anything we like!
 
That can be said for anything, everyone buys a macbook and iphone but we don't have to, we do because we're told they're amazing and they can copy and paste text which is awesome!

No, she didn't, theres still the odd good photo of here being done. AS with most people a picture taken from the right angle can completely change how you appear.

There was a thread back ages ago, think it was on here. Theres some 17yr old girl who looks UBER hot in 2 pics that someone posted, but they are from a distinct angle with a very specific pose, and a normal picture she's one of the ugliest people around, awful teeth, mashed up face.

A photo doesn't prove someones hot, almost anyone can look good from one angle or another. She's not a very attractice person, but she's got a lot of balls(figuratively, maybe literally) which I give her credit for. Personally I think her music is awful and her fashion sense is laughable but people love to get behind stupid looks.

But she's out there making a bundle, apparently doing what she enjoys so good on her for that. I just hope for the sake of my ears that she doesn't last that long and people get bored of her obvious act just to make money, because I could do with not hearing her songs all over the place.

When people do get bored of her, she'll be a damn site richer than me though, so I doubt she gives a monkeys what most people think of her at all.

In the OP's link/pictures, I'm not really sure why she's walking around like an old granny, being propped up and hunched over, all drugged up on something? Her appearance on Johnathon Ross just made me thing she was completely barking mad.
 
I'm not a fan. However, I think she's rather smart. Clearly she's a talented musician, writes a lot of music for herself and others IIRC. She's just living an "act" because that's her persona. She is Stefani Germanotta (or however you spell her name), but for the moment she's "Lady GaGa" - that's the persona she's set up for herself for her "public" and personal music career, rather than when she's writing for others where I'm sure she writes as "Stefani Germanotta". Clever girl IMO, nuts and completely not my cup of tea but good on her I say. :)
