It's snowing

I've just had to abort my journey to work as there is so much sheet ice there are accidents making the roads impassable. No snow, but very cold and the roads look like they have been lined with glass.

Full White out on the London Road, Hinckley.

I wish it would go away :(

I've also just noticed how filthy the inside of the door is :|

Snowing at the moment in Godalming, and we had about an inch last night it seems. Luckily the 70/71 are running normally (last time checked), so will be able to get to college, which also luckily isn't closed.

I enjoy the snow, but only when it's not cuasing closures or cancellations. I don't care if the snow stays for another week or so, as long as I can go about my day relatively normally.

No more snow yet in manchester, but the gf just rang from work ( st helens ) saying it coming down hard there now.

Nothing to complain about really its only snow, those poor buggers in Haiti seem to have got it very bad with this earthquake, lets just hope the offers of aid actually materialise.

British Specialist Firefighters are meant to go out there today, don't think that's going to happen.

FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU

Just been out in Swindon in the car, trying to get to Cheney Manor. It's scary, probably the worst ice/snow I've driven in, cars and trucks are getting stuck everywhere on the slightest of gradients (mostly driver failure).

I had to avoid a Ford Cargo type truck sliding backwards down a hill towards me in Haydon Wick.

I aborted my journey, and it was a challenge getting home again back up to St Andrews Ridge, the main roads are just about passable but the smaller ones are lethal. :(

What a nightmare this morning has been. Was milimeters away from having a bus crash into me, roads are terrible, traffic is backed up all over Stratford.

Then I phone the school to see if they are open, get told they are open so I set off taking my son to school, get to an ice road full of cars sliding everywhere to see parents taking their kids home, turns out they had now shut the school. Had to then take my son home instead of getting to work. Not happy.

Agreed Vampire, the side roads around here are lethal!
