Only thing that displeases me about buying from Play - not on my steam and I love steam. Will more than likely still get it on Steam and sell the copy from play (+ I want the collectors edition

Well according to one of EA peeps, they are trying to get the beta on Steam. Will have to wait and see I suppose.

I am going to wait till the day before the Beta keys get released on Play, in case it comes out on Steam.

Then if it does come out on Steam, I can sit here looking all smug at the peeps who have bought the disc

I prefer disk and box, looks nice on my collection to the PC gaming
