Weird thing is that notes demo access from game, yet on their site it mentions nothing about the beta\demo untill i click on the ps3 or 360 version.

Preorder Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 and don't forget there will be 3 week Demo access starting on the 28th January!

So its for consoles only on that site, pc version has nothing like that listed on it. :confused:
 
I pre ordered it in store yesterday but there no price set for retail store so they could charge what ever they like and the guy said it could be like 40 pounds :O online store only what like 25.

I also asked 2 (GAME) shops about the beta and no one had any information about that yet.

So as it stands now where in the uk could we pre order and get into pc beta cause as i understand it its a closed beta and only pre orders can get in ?

Play is the only one offering guaranteed beta access (other than the EA store). They say it's exclusive so I imagine it's to make up for Game having the exclusive to the limited edition.

Earlier today, January 13, 2010, we got hacked. The hacker(s) gone
through our files and put a very inappropriate picture on one of our
blog posts who got the most views. We got notified by our members and
visitors kindly and very negatively. We've fixed the problem. We're EXTREMELY sorry about this.
We couldn't prevent this at all. We had no idea this was coming. If we
had knew, we would have been ready. Our security ports were down for
the moment because we were recently renovating the site, if you have
seen the new widgets and stuff. We know that this will effect the

I got play.com pre order. They haven't yet taken the money but I have NO INTENTION OF CANCELLING after beta. It's £26. I can live with that! If I don't get a key on the official date, I will cancel then

Ah yes me 2 i had a long conversation with EA last nite about how we had to go to a third party to get beta access! terrible!
 
I have now pre-ordered. Can't wait - the multiplayer gameplay trailers on gametrailers.com look immense! Finally, a game that looks like it will beat MW1 for multiplayer gaming (for me anyway - so don't start! :rolleyes:;))
 
I was going to get mw2 at xmas (for xbox360) but after playing bf 2 on pc and then seeing this game i am hooked :D pre ordered pc version.

Got new mouse and sound card as well but after seeing a post from devs it won't use eax and the sound will be software based so does not really matter if you have nice sound card or not.


Is just me or does x-fi cmss-3D degrade the sound and not as nice on stereo headphones.

Steam Beta: Yes there was a leaked image of a Package file we propped on Steam. People with illegal accounts can see games in this environment, but this is not a Beta in the term of Public Test Beta, but a real development Beta installer client for the Steam version of the full game. We are however working with Steam to have the Public PC Beta available on Steam, but can't confirm this quite yet so cross your fingers Steam users.

The GAME is £2 less elsewhere, dont get beta 2 days earlier but its the special edition with 6 early unlocks...
