Pre-rendered, but still representitive of the final product, which looks immense if the demo is anything to go by.

But when people played the demo, everyone realised all they did was unhinge the camera. All i'm saying is that i wouldn't put it past this game, because you don't see this level of detail on the regular fixed camera, and they proved us wrong before with the first set of screenshots.

Enjoying playing through the collection (when I have the time) so quite looking forward to this. Probably wait for it to get cheaper though.

Pretty sure they are screens from the new trailer out on the 18th from a new demo a few press played before Christmas. Most probably upscaled for Print use, i remember last year when they U2 pics came out it was supposed to be all pre rendered bullshots, but we know what happened with that game. Didnt some one mention that this game is using some stupid high AA, above 16xMSAA which was developed with the devs who made sabotuer, as the images are excellent.

I never played this despite having a PS2 since it launched. I guess the collection is worth picking up prior to getting GOW3?
I watched the gametrailers review and some of the fights look epic!

That's quite an improvement from the E3 demo, which isn't a surprise considering footage of said demo was available nearly a year ago. I bet they've added some AA etc though...

In what way? I think it's hard to argue the graphics aren't impressive, even if only using the near-1-year old demo as an example. If you're talking about gameplay then that's a more subjective manner.

The graphics.Kratos looks detailed but the backgrounds aren't that good.Look at the wall in the 3rd pic down,looks like PS2 graphics!

Ok,maybe not quite like PS2 but compared to something like uncharted 2 they look very poor.
I'll still be getting the game though :rolleyes:

You're comparing possibly the best looking game and an exploratory adventure game to a hack and slash.

Those GOW graphics look fine, saying poor is a little extreme.

i have been wanting to play these games for ages,might have to go and buy the collectors edition.I didnt own a ps2 but have a ps3.
