I am half way through season 4 and I don't think I have ever seen a better TV show.

The wire as a whole is a really good piece of tv to watch, the first season really blew me away. I kinda lost my way when it was on and am still on the end of the forth season with the fifth yet to watch
Watch it, you won't be disappointed.

You'll struggle to understand what they are saying to start with but once you get used to it you won't be able to stop watching it.

I haven't watched all of them but have seen a few bits here and there. I've borrowed the whole of season 1 so am going to get round to it soon.

Watched the first two episodes of the first series and found it hard to motivate myself any further. Will try again though.

Have series one of both The Wire and Deadwood. Still not sure what to see through yet.

Strongly recommend going to episode 6, by which point it will have sucked you in and you'll hopefully find the rest of the season very rewarding.
