tescos staff and tonk

this really bugs me and next time im going to say something
me and my son ( tonk ) who is 2 take regular visits to tescos every wednesday and either sat and sunday, tonk sits in the trolley seat and is a good lad and is rewarded with a gingerbread man and a ride on pats van or nonny car ( noddy car ) outside the store.
when we go to the checkouts and finish packing our shopping Tonk always waves and say bye bye to the checkout assistant, and i can honestly say that there are only a handful of assistants that acknowledge him and say bye bye to him too.
This really annoys me and im sure Tonk wonders why they dont say bye to him
