..is anybody here really happy with their life?

is the goal happiness? and achieving 100% happiness?

seems rather a skewed perception and thing to be aiming for tbh. But everyones different i guess.

As long as i have not fallen of the path (which at this moment happens to be cliffside :/) then its fine.

STAY ON TARGET!

I am quite content in my life. I am a person of quite low expectation in terms of being happy with a roof over my head and a few luxuries. I don't mind having to pay bills and work as it provides these things. My job is pretty sweet. I love my partner and am very happy with our relationship.

Being "Happy" overall, well, it's a tough one. I think it's human nature and the way we are all wired these days to carry on wanting more and bettering ourselves. Bigger house, more money, 15" schlong, etc.

If I stop and actually think of my life compared to others I actually feel pretty good. Most of us (if not all on these forums) have it very good and don't even realise it because we are too busy wrapped up in our own life to consider the other 6-7 Billion lives out there :)

I've got a fantastic wife
I've got 2 great kids that have never been in trouble
I've got all the toys a man could want
I've got a great job
I've got a great rock band with a great following
I've got a big penis

I which I was thinner though

I am quite happy, would like to finish my training and get a good job, and i would like a smaller penis.

As mentioned, there are too many variables to be happy with everything in your life.

If you didn't have the things your not happy with at the moment, there would be something else to takes it's place. There is always room for improvement.

One thing that I would like to change is my income, I've been working very hard in my current job for the last year and a bit, which hasn't gone un-noticed by colleagues and clients, but "due to the recession" I haven't recieved a payrise.

I'll be holding out until April.

I wouldn't mind having more money, but I'm very happy with all aspects of my life (bar my parents and best friend being in the southern hemisphere).

Having more money or being Rich could mean you could live with them or you could pay for them to all live here with you!

Might solve one problem but it might bring more hassle along with it? Plenty of people who I have heard about have gone reclusive because they are worth a few bob.

I admit, not ever having to worry about money again in life or for my future children lives would be amazing. A life without that stress would certainly be a healthier one.

Don't know if it would make me happier though!
