Amazon don't seem to be that great for games IF you're wanting them for release day or maybe that 1 day early ;)

I've been using Game Uk for a good year or 2 and the games have always arrived on time if not a day early :)

I ordered a laptop bag from amazon a few days back with first class delivery(paid an extra £5...), it was meant to come today at the very latest so i ended up staying at home today for nothing. Im going away for a few months on sunday, so i will need it before then. Its also slightly worrying because i cant track the order so some other numpty could have nabbed it and i would be none the wiser. I guess i will ring amazon up tomorrow and hope they have some kind of idea where its at.

If ME2 comes tomorrow i will be at home playing that all day anyway so i dont really care but i would have liked to have gone out today.
 
Amazon want everyone to sign up to their "Prime" service (which is very good but a bit too expensive for me) and thus botch up every other post option. :D
 
my ea one completed yesterday whilst maxing out my connection, when it finished it said "install" once that had completed it started up the launcher and i got really excited! i thought to myself "do we get it early as we buy direct??" then it came up with the release date verification when i clicked play :(
 
I can't get that preload link to work at all, it's just sat in my games list as not installed. Any ideas? Would dearly like to preload this ;).

Folk have said it's doing it in the background - Steam just won't be showing any activity. Check your net connection and see if it is maxing out?

Yep, mines going on in the background. Can always check your folder is growing in size.

I've just swapped my order from ST Online to ME2.. loved the first and STO needs a bit more time I think.

I had to quit Steam and restart it for it to update properly. Using the menu option said I was up to date, but it wasn't.

Anyway, ME2 is now preloading 'officially', so no need for the tricks posted earlier.
 
PC Users don't have to swap discs like 360 users do they? (SecuROM is involved so its the only reason I ask).

I ordered mine off Play got posted this morning, Hope it comes on Friday !

I heard its on 2 discs... so unless 1 is a play disc the other is pure install, its likely. Praise the lord for digital copies :p
