At least with steam though it wont be everyone fighting over a handful of download links, though I would imagine a little bit of steam location switching will be needed to get full speeds.

Steam never seems very fast to me normally going on tho...I reckon torrents are going to be quickest method of getting ahold of this.
Or they could be sensible and allow preloads, but I'm not holding my breath.

ill be using torrent, it will be slow but reliable as i can pause it etc. Not going to do a 1.5gb over http and have my router cut out at 97% which has happened before.

When its ready, the beta will show up in your steam games list.

It should appear on your steam list tomorrow same time as the beat is released for download elsewhere. For the key it will either be intergrated with steam or like some other games have a little pop up when you run it.
