Z4MC for under 20k

Wrong time for the SO to fall pregnant :(

I used to dream of owning one of these, I had no idea they had become so cheap, this would have been within reach by the time the year is up, too :(

Same colour scheme as mine, albeit I have a roadster and not a coupe.

It is a keen price for a coupe with a good spec. Just a couple of things to watch out for with that one. Judging by the service mileage intervals it won't be far off an Inspection 2 I suspect. Also will need an MOT in March as well as the warranty renewal. Totting all that lot up (£600ish for an insp 2?, £50 MOT, £850 warranty) means you'll be facing £1,500 worth of bills in the next six months assuming nothing goes wrong.

I'm also slightly concerned by the fact it has already had 3 owners in its short life, but I guess there can be reaosns for that.

Inspection 2 should be nearer to £400 than £600 and MOT shouldn't be any more than £25. Warranty for a year is going to be under £600.

are you sure? this is the M version not the regular, so insp 2 is about £600 if it anything like an E46 M3, ditto warranty. The M's have higher warranty cost.

and a £25 MOT is also pretty optimistic! you must know a cheap place.

Better handing because they are more rigid. The coupe is also rarer than the roadster.

Coupes are only available in 3.0 ltr and M spec and production of the coupe didn't start till 2006.
The M roadster didn't start until 06 either.

Coupés were slightly cheaper than roadsters when they initially went on sale (I think), but as has been said, they have held their value better due to rarity and their reputation for handling as well as speed.

I'm tempted on a near-daily basis to upgrade my 3 litre to a MR or MC. Justifying it against the impending move out is very difficult, though!
