Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

If its anything like BF2, run it in windowed mode and when it crashes it should give you fault code. Wont work in fullscreen.

It seems to update every time you start it, now these CTD's have started happening since someone said that their steam had auto updated the game.

Coincedence ?

Seems to have started since the message came about that they were fixing the lag issue.

Glad it's not just me with this problem. Hopefully it's just the "beta" rush and things will go to normal soon.

I'll be at least expecting an improvement with the server browser as it's annoying having to wait for the refresh before being allowed to choose filter options. Also, I can't seem to sort the servers by the column I want (server name/ping/number of players/etc) or find "local" servers. Reckon that'll be my first report for the beta.
 
Was OK before. Very laggy server causing sluggish play but was OK.
Now every time i just press Join Game to go into an average random server it tries to get into a Multiplay one and then says you've been kicked. :(

Hopefully will be sorted before the final release though because at least now they know how much strain the servers are coming under. After all, that's what betas are for :)
 
I would imagine we get some patches soon to fix some of the issues

Freinds just tried the 360 demo and he said its in a different league to the pc beta, lets hope this is how the pc game will end up.

Got to say, this beta is a major fail, well for me anyway. Keeps crashing to desktop, keep getting kicked from servers straight away. Haven't even got into a game yet and I have been trying for the last 20 min. I know that its a beta, but very disappointed considering that this is going to be out in march, don't think all the bugs will be fixed by then :(
