Don't you guys have work or uni or both or something to commute to ? Snow is a pain, public transport is in shambles at the smallest sign of snow and driving is painfully slow and you have to be careful.
Live reasonably close to work, or even, heaven forbid, walk to work? In December when we had 4" of snow I walked the 30-40 mins to work, snow days not taking any longer than normal...
Hopefully tomorrow we will be told just how "cold" January has been and I think a lot of people will be in for a shock as to how warm it actually was, yes colder than average but I doubt it wll be too near the coldest Januarys on record.
