Battlefield BC2 looking dam sweet

Does anyone know if you will be able to change your name whenever you want once youve created a character ? i hate this on COD etc, you have people changing there names every single day and you cant keep up with who's who

No you can't, your stats are bound to your "Soldier" and every soldier has 1 name, unless they can hack it.

Right guys, maybe someone can help me... I've been trying to snipe in games, but I'm having this really really annoying problem with controlling the mouse. It's most noticeable when playing sniper, but I do get it with other weapons when trying to look relatively long range and making very precise movements targetting people. Particularly when targetting long range targets, it feels like the mouse is snapping to a grid and isn't pixel to pixel.

For example, I could be trying to hit a stationary target which is just very slightly to the right of my cursor, so I move my mouse a tiny bit to the right, and the cursor in a snapping motion snaps to the right of where I'm trying to target, I move ever so slightly to the left and suddenly my cursor is exactly where it was before, to the left of my target. It's infuriating, especially when trying to do some precise shooting.

Anyone have any idea what it could be? I have a Razer Deathadder and I've played with the mouse settings including sensitivity ingame, but nothing seems to be helping...

When I play in the morning it's ok, but in the evening I often get "you have lost connection to the server", then when I try to log back in it hangs updating my stats and I have to alt-tab-del and restart the game :/

i just told you why, you have people changing there names spamming in the middle of a game in cod, i like to know whos who and not turning up in a server and finding you have a twin double and if you can change your name randomly there will not be any online stats sites which suprisingly i liked back in bf2, bf2142 days, so maybe a answer to my question instead of a Ghey reply :)

if they spam they spam but no need to go sherlock holmes on em :D take a break and have a kitkat its a game. just have a laugh enjoy it . let the kiddies have there little fun and ignore them.

That glitches, exploits...vid is cool. So smart the guys making their way across the pipe. :D

I think it is just your breathing, the weight of the gun, e.t.c. e.t.c. and you have to counter that averse movement, or wait for a lull in it.
I have the deathadder too.

Nah mate, it's definitely not the breathing, it's definitely as if it's snapping to a grid, I'm having to strafe left/right whilst holding my cursor still to be able to have the cursor over a precise target at a distance, rather than being able to move my mouse to that point, that just isn't right... anyone else experienced something similar?

I know exactly what you mean, and its pretty much stopping me from sniping :(

You know the UAV, i get how to move about, but how do you fire on things? The red square to solid and then press fire?

Possibly mouse's DPI is too low?

I can't remember if you have to hold down the LMB or not. Anyway, providing the "LASER" word on the HUD is not flashing, you should be able to fire at anything. Yes, you do have to hold the LMB as the target box will waver as the UAV floats about. You have to keep the box aimed at your target to guide the missile. Reminds me of jousting in "Defender of the Crown". :p

OT I Know but I stabbed someone through a house wall last night, funny as. He was running at me and I ducked into a room turned and stabbed him through the wall next to me.

Been that way in these games since BF2 though some people tend not to notice it.

Got my problem sorted in the end, have to browse to the folder and launch as admin.

So far, Im really not sure what to think. Not liking the lack of prone, or strafing when I run. Maybe Ill get used to it though. Recoil on the guns seem a bit ott in comparison to the damage they do also.
