Not sure about the predator but the Alien is at least over 7ft end to end.(The guy in the suit in the original film was over 7ft) if you want a size reference.

I know I just looked it up after I posted.:p

7ft 6 is the estimate I saw for the predator, in the first film, average from lots of sources is supposedly 8ft.
 
demo was working great but then after joining an online game i can move around for 30-45seconds and then my monitors both go into 'energy save mode'


i've tried dropping the resolution and detail levels but still a crash of the system.

i can hear what is going on but my PC becomes unresponsive and requires a reboot via the reset button on case.

anyone got any ideas ?
 
anyone else think the aliens are disadvantaged? Every time I play, this is one predator against 3 or 4 aliens and couple of marines and every time the preadator slaughters everyone, even when it's me! :D

I jsut think the predator has a huge advantage.
 
have to say i found the demo p*** poor
buuuuuuut... i still may get the game if i have some cash lying about and if theres enough ocuk players to tear a new hole
 
I love it, for some reason.

I don't like the following:
-Control feels clunky for all of them
-No crouch for Marine (yes, this actually spoils it for me!)
-Demo being Deathmatch, I get annoyed with factions who kill each other rather than stick together
-The trophy kills seem too easy to rely on
-Marine should be a little bit faster
-Playing the alien makes me feel sick lol

Other than the above, I actually really enjoy a marine experience with a few people who don't kill each other.
 
I also think the muzzle flash for the pulse rifle is absurd, you can't see anything which is funny at first for spray and pray...but annoying there after. Also, shotgun should be a bit more powerful :)
 
been playing on it for a while and the only thing i dont like is the slight awkwardness of fighting and like grabbing people but apart from that its all good ;)

It's fast paced but everythign just seems to die far too easily imho.
Think the single playre will be teh best part of this game.

BTW whats the deal when your the alien fi you hold both mouse buttons it crosses its arms, is this a defensive stance? I've tried it online but ppl keep cropping up behind me and eating my face lol

and why oh why is there not a on/off button for the mic? Like L4D2 it opens up my mic and continously broadcasts ><

from some of the things I've heard it appears most people have not noticed this yet lmao

when you block you can only block light attacks i think, but heavy attacks are slow anyway.
