*** Official BioShock 2 Thread ***

Wish i'd ordered from Zavvi, but I totally forgot about my Argos pre-order (was too busy with ME2), was going to change mine as I wanted to Rapture Ed. but never got round to it :o
 
My copy hasn't been dispatched yet (Amazon) although I did choose super saver delivery :o Anyhow I still have Mass Effect 2 to finish so im in no hurry.
 
bah only manged to play 20 mins so far as "life" decided to rear it's ugly head and kick me in the nads, so I've had to do stuff :(
Just noticed that strangley there isn't an achievment for completing on hard :eek: so getting Big Brass Balls will be too easy!
And I noticed there is now 100 audio logs!

oh well, loved the felling of being back in Rapture (although they have changed the graphic style slightly) so off I stomp :D
 
Ah what the hell, I've had this on pre-order for months and it's still not been dispatched.

I feel a staunch "it's not fair, wah wah wah" letter coming on. :(
 
I hate those achievements that mean finding stuff as they take ages but I still always seem to do them. I did find all the pigeons on GTAIV and probably would have got all the audio diaries on Bioshock if I didn't miss one of the 3 you can't go back for.

Just playing Assassin's Creed though, there is no way I'm going to get all those flags! Must take ages?
 
Been playing since sat (got pre-order from Tesco direct early) - its okey, think I'm about 35% or so in - canny, but not as good as the first.

Some things feel more streamlined - like having plasmids and weapons available at once, but other things feel dumbed down (like missing uinvent, the tonics being 1 type etc).

The art doesn't seem as nice either - the ocean floor looks wayyyy too colourful imho, whilst interiors feel 'muddy' or just not as sharp as the first.

Probably worth picking up still, but I'd recommend waiting til its slightly cheaper then rrp.
 
****ing hell bought the game because I thought there was no chance of getting this on rental and bloody boomerang have sent it out before I could cancel my package, DOH!
 
It's good but not as breathtaking as the first game. I guess that's to be expected though. Feels a bit harder if I am honest (playing on Normal).
