Currently got an A4 avant, but its not big enough for our 2 dogs.

Thinking of trading in for a bigger car. Budget no more than 10k. Dont want to go to that tbh. I'm hoping to get 6-7k trade on mine.

I want a car with a min 30mpg, thats what im use to.

Seen V70's but they have an old image.
Mondeo estates, but there everywhere
Quite like the 407 estates but dont think the boots big enough.
And something about the Zafira VXR is calling to me (well i did have the corsa vxr and astra vxr before!)
Honda accord tourer but cant see a decent example near me.
Not sure if i want to go german due to increased maintenance costs.

Any other cars i'm missing?

Looks too dated? That has the most incredible interior combo I think I've seen on an e39.

But no, you go enjoy your zafira (which BTW has a smaller boot than your A4 Avant, but I'm sure the dog's won't mind, seeing as you'll be daddy fool).

how do you work that one out?

By not being a blinded vauxhall fanboy?

The Zafira's boot is tiny in relation to a decent estate. Don't just go off volume, but actually look at usable floor space, which unfortunately unless you have anti-grav dogs, you'll need.

lol, your not a german (bmw) fanboy are you by any chance?

...but if the zaf has less usable floor space, then yes, thats off the list.

What with having had a Vauxhall, Citroen, Alfa, SEAT, Nissan, Volvo and BMW, no, I don't think I'm particularly brand partial.

Seeing as no one's played the wildcard yet I'll put the Honda S2000 on the table. <30mpg, 2 seats and no boot but under £10k and it goes like stink:p
