Oh I did I had to fix an infected pc so I plugged hard drive in to mine and the virus infected on to mine

MSE Avira Avast none of those 3 detected or could remove the trojan but malwarebytes did.

How did you connect the hard drive? by usb?
 
Been using it for a while on my laptop, and it seems ok - better than most other free ones IMO anyway.

I'll probably switch over to KAV at some point, my 3 user license is ending soon so I'll replace it with a 5 user one.
