dating at work and stuff

Got any experience with it? good, bad ?
New female colleague (secretary/administrative assistant), is drop-dead gorgeous (as far as my taste in women is concerned), looks 28, though I found out she is 34..

I am 22 and on a verge of asking her out : ).
But the age difference...bah.
what's the advice of ocuk hivemind, and what are your experiences with this?
 
1) Don't poop on your own doorstep.
2) Smash her pasty

Choose wisely.
 
Is this another "I saw a fit bird in Asda, shall I ask her out?" thread ? - if it is don't let it end in fail :(

Bear in mind that if you have any mutual female friends and you dump her, then you'll probably loose them. Also, if there are any other females at work that you like then you wont have much of a chance with them!

Other than that, go for it.
 
Definately give it a go.
Though if it all goes horribly wrong it could get very messy very quickly.

I know dread going to work due to seeing a girl at work and it all going wrong.

Proceed with caution.
 
I worked in a large office in London a few years back of around 100 people and successfully managed to smash the pasties of all the decent ladies. 5 in total over the space of a year and nobody knew a thing. :cool:

Go for it. Especially as she is 34 she will probably teach you a thing or two ;)
 
She's likely to think you're too young unless you're very mature for your age. Furthermore, I try to keep away (not that I have the choice in my office!) from interacting with colleagues inappropriately. Though I did have some fun with a temp once, but I classify that as different as she wasn't permanent staff, and no one else had the guts to do anything about it! :D

However, you have nothing to lose - worse comes to the worse you'll just have a bit of embarassement for a bit and then just get back to your life.

I dated a girl from work in 05, it was great until my team leader found out, turns out he had been asking her out for years!!! :o

He never spoken to me again after he found out, he sat right next to me any whenever he wanted to say something he emailed me. :rolleyes:

Haha what a loser. Team leader, love follower.

Two of my friends stopped talking to each other at uni after one banged this chick that the other had been unsuccessfully trying it on with for a year, at the first attempt!
