Facebook chat through Pidgin!

Just no.
People already spend too much time on that god forsaken site they don't need another reason.
I've been using it on adium for a while but I don't find it to be too reliable. Doesn't always connect/everything always connects at the same time (annoying if you have growl on haha).
Much nicer than talking on facebook website though!

This has been enabled through plugins (on the Pidgin website) for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages.

MSN is dead, too much crap with it and Facebook is a nice central way of keeping contacts up to date without having to add/update email addresses.

emesene a clone of MSN for *nix/windows is pretty good and has Faceboot chat support. Worth a try if your tired of Pidgin/Empathy etc.

Hopefully it's better than the horrible web messenger on facebook where I keep disconnecting
