Yeah, DICE seriously needs to add the option to display PING in-game. Most retarded thing ever in an online FPS game that you can`t see your latency.

Aye the gl is pretty pants unless you more or less hit them with it, I like it but the smoke nade needs a look at

Weird thing is its the weapon i now have most kills with and i think its crap as well :eek: Previously it was the knife, says a lot about the weapons in the beta so far.

I read somwhere that DICE chose a more stable BETA build over one with more options. Im sure they will have ping and K/D in the scoreboard, i mean they have to right.....

I've seen that before too. But something so basic as ping, there's no excuse to not have added it by now.

True, its annoying but ultimately not something to get worked up over. I just stick to UK servers. Simple :cool:

They should have a few basic things added on release, like better filters on server browser and ability to sort the browser by catagories i.e. latency.
 
Keep getting disconnected a lot from games recently which is a shame, hopefully it is just a beta thing. Cracking game. Can't wait until the full release. I started pretty badly as I have never played a Battlefield game before and got hardly any points per game. Am gradually getting better though.
 
Anyone camping on "sniper hill" should have this done to them:


Not exactly sure how that works, in that vids its like enemies can lock onto an opposing teams tracer dart. Assuming that is the first sniper hill, doesn't appear to be though. On sniper hill for an enemy to get that close he would have the "you have 10 seconds" warning on his screen.
 
yep iv done that to a sniper :) i also do it to guys that sit on the hill with a tank. ( i do that myself so i cant say its bad ;D )

Yep, just noticed, its definately on the second attacker hill to the right, funny nonetheless!
 
Heres a question, does the a10 strafing run actually do anything in terms of damage to enemies or is it purely a visual effect? In all my time playing the beta ive yet to see any hud messages indicating an enemy was actually gunned down by it. Seems a bit pointless if it doesn't actually do anything.
 
Heh, the dart gun has no bullet drop so if the sniper sits still you can do this from miles away
 
Most of the time they will be zoomed in so i doubt it :D

Thing that bugs me about the tracer is it was never stated that it has no drop, most of the time i was aiming above targets and wondering why it never hit.

It does seem bugged though, ive lost count of the amount of times ive tagged a tank, locked on and fired the rpg only for the crosshair not to indicate a hit. The missiles seem to try to go through geometry instead of trying to get up and over it before descending.

Id say it also needs a speedbump, tagging helis is nigh on impossible.

Yea i THINK engineers can take the dart off with the repair piece. Not sure..

And yea if theres a landform in the way of the target it won't go over or around it.

Speedbump would be nice, but people already whinge its op.

If it doesn't indicate a hit, this is because either the angle you fired at/the location of the target causes the rocket to hit something else, or you hit the tank say in the front armour and it didn't do anything, or if it's being repaired when it hits as it appears that hitting it whilst it's under repair negates the damage.
