Saw this today, have to say it started off pretty good and there are some pretty tense scenes. I did think it lost direction towards the end but is definitely worth a watch.

Enjoyed it apart from when they meet up with the British guys .... if they didnt get shot they couldnt even manage to radio in a command correctly ...

It's worth a watch, it's not a great film. For a "war" film, there's not much action, it's mainly about the interaction but it's too long and not massively interesting in parts plus a bit unbelievable regarding what happens. It's also odd in that the star names only have fairly small parts in the film.

It's a good war film inasmuch as it's actually interesting. If you want lots of explosions and muscle worship, pick something else up. However, if you want something with atmosphere and tension - and lots of suspense - go for this.
