What can I do with XBox 360?

If you have not paid then you do not legally have to have it what ever ebay say.. If no payment has been made then no contract has been formed and you do not have to go through with the sale.

Its also listed as a trade seller so you could just return it under DSR...

Contact the seller and tell them you don't want it. They can cancel the transaction and get their fees back plus it saves a lot of hassle, they don't need to package it up or post it. They are not able to leave you negative feedback so I'd try this first.

it cost me last week £235 for 120gb black elite brand new, with bioshock2, forza3, gears of war 2, and 2 black wireless controllers.

i think you got conned

As much as I understand the advice given about contacting the seller to say you don't want it, or using the distance selling regulations - you need to give yourself a slap for buying this in the first place!! :p

One way or another, if you don't go ahead with the purchase you've caused the seller undue hassle - trade seller or not.

So you bid on something you don't want and now you are wasting the sellers time by not buying it ?

Reminds me why I don't sell stuff on ebay anymore.

You could get the DVD remote for it, and use it as a media extender, with the possibility of playing 360 games if you ever decide to randomly bid on some games and a controller(and win?)

Yeah but an arcade doesn't have HDMI nor can it support Wireless controllers (think) and is white.

It is going to cost another £100 to buy a controller and a 120GB HDD.

We can't really tell you what to do OP.

I personally don't consider spending a few hundred quid over 5 years so much to play the latest games. so I would keep it personally even if you hardly use it.

That's why I have a 360, PS3 and a PC. :D

but yeah you didn't get a good deal tbh. So keep it and cut your losses.

WTF are you talking about. Every 360 ever made has supported wireless controllers. Most 360s sold on the high street in the last 3 years has had HDMI support.
It may cost about 100 quid for a controller and a 120gb hdd but 20gb in fairness lasted me about 4 years and I honestly cant see me filling my 60GB hdd ever. 120 is way more than I need. tbh.

i was always under the impression the difference between arcade and premium was the hard drive included, and the chrome dvd tray. the rest is identical?

As much as I appreciate unhelpful advice like that, I don't need being lectured on what is right and what is wrong. One way or the other we are all human and prone to making mistakes. I know the rules of the game and hence paid for the damn thing. I've dropped the seller an email and it is now up to them to decide if they want to help me.
Many thanks for all your advice, will post back with outcome.

Sorry mate, but only a complete **** "accidently" buys something on ebay. I mean you even have to confirm your bid, just to make sure. And why bid on something you don't even want!

If I was the seller I'd make it as difficult as possible to cancel the transaction, as you've entered into an agreement by bidding on, and winning the item.

Yep, what an awful lot of hassle to cause someone, really don't understand why you'd do that at all. It's like someone bidding on an expensive coffee machine, yet doesn't drink coffee...

Anyway, if you're stuck with it, use it as a media extender or try some cheap second hand games maybe?
