Your favourite nightclubs

lol. Ive seen him 8 times now i think and spoke to him for the first time on sat. Some DJs are total nobs but he's is a top guy.

Its a pitty I was out for a mates leaving do and drank way too much in town, then cant remember much until around 3am when someone told me i was in the wrong room and proteus was on in the other! (i had a proteus Tshirt on) I caught the last half of his set then carried on going strong until close. He joined the crowd after his set and had a dance :)

see you at the next riff raff. greg zogg, ed real...

Hah, nice.

The only problem with that place is that popping in for a few hours soo easily turns into an all nighter :(

Which is bad because? I tend to go to clubs around 12 anyway. 11 - 5 is usual

Even on normal nights out when 3 is close, we will go home and have a few beers and play some music before going to bed around 6. Saturday/Sunday is for getting up at 12, get some lunch, have a walk around town maybe, chill for a bit after

edit - unless like my last sunday after riff raff, when i got the train at 2pm to go home and have a family meal at night. Fun times!

Nothing but dumps in Leicester. Superfly, Mosh, Retribution and all that jazz are distinctly poor. Think some dude mentioned Fanclub and Oxygen too, those ain't that great either!

I guess I'm not a nightclub person? I always found outdoor raves more exciting. (scene's dead as a dodo nowadays)

Onanon
Fabric
Drapers
Zoo Bar
Tiger
Pasha

All above in London and are good. Not the best, having sweaty men dancing next you is never good! :p
I advise against Oxygen bar in Liecester Square - it's ****.

gatecrasher ( dancing policemen on the dance floor ) lol
cream ( in the summer, leaving at 6am when the suns comming up )
eden in ibiza very very good times there

I haven't been to any outside Nottingham yet but my favourite here by far is Stealth. Gets amazing lineups, always full of loads of people I know and the bouncers aren't as strict as others ;)

Colloseum (Vauxhall, London) in the late 90s.

Don't do clubbing any more. Hurts me ears and is too much trouble for the bother. Where's my pipe and slippers?

for anyone asking about Tall Trees being open still, it shut about a year or 2 ago as far as I know.
I live quite close but have never been, sounded awful unless for the general nights but for the big DJ ones it was supposed to be immense.

Tuxedo Princess in Newcastle was legendary for novelty value :D

tall trees is definitely still open. although i can see why you wouldnt believe that. they have closing partys every so many months and then re open it the next month... theyve got something big on at easter bank holiday iirc

as for what i think are the best clubs in the uk

the end (london rip :()
warehouse project (manchester)
fabric (london)

Opera House (Bournemouth) >*.*

/thread

been there many times to hardcore / hard-style events!

off my ****ing trolley!

amazing place!

anyone remember The Monastery in Torquay early 90's?

was rated top 3 in England for a very very long time! only went twice and it was so grimy and dirty! I just wish I was my sisters age so I could have gone every weekend cause it was pretty damn good!

Its not open as much as it used to be anyway, or on the scale - i never see any posters or adverts for it anywhere.

Iv just been looking up dance academy in plymouth, I didnt know such a place existed there, shut a month after I first started going out there sadly though.
