Ha! Ha! Yeah female comedians suck. Even worse are the ones who go for being as sick as possible in an attempt to be funny.

I disagree with your Frank Skinner comment though; very funny bloke. I recommend his autobiography. Very, very funny and very, very personal. So much so it goes into details of him shagging his gf in public places and her objecting to it (writing that into his book). So much so, that she eventually dumps him because of how much detail he is using!

Jesse Joyce (Writer for Giraldo, regular on keith and the girl, one cd out)
Keith Malley (Co-host of the brilliant keith and the girl podcast, 5 maybe 6cds out)

Norm is a legend. Friend of mine's dad has both series of the Norm Show on VHS.

Haven't seen much of Jon Bishop but he looks promising and Kevin Bridges looks to be around for a few years. Milton Jones I've seen on Mock The Week twice now and he's unbelievably funny. One liners I can only imagine I'd ever have the speed of mind to come up with.

Can't stand Alan Carr or most female comics apart from Jo Brand who does a pretty good job on QI. Russell Brand can just get lost.

Why the Micheal McIntyre hate? I see it around - why people say 'sorry' for liking him - where does this stem from?


I have a theory - does any one not fit into this? --

People who like and find Lee Evans funny do not like McIntyre, and vice versa..

I can't stand Evans and his 'slapstick style', but find McIntyre's observational comedy very funny. People I've asked about this always seem to like one or the other but not both.
