Killing a fox?

Probably correct if we are talking legal air weapons in this country which means 12ft/lb max for rifles, 6ft/lb for pistols.
Some git shot me with one and he's going to need a bigger one if I find out who it was because it stung like a ***** and put some holes through my threads.
Anyone on here who thinks foxes are evil, is an idiot tbh.
They are just doing what comes naturally, its nature, they need to eat. They dont kill for the fun of it. They are predators.
What sort of garden do you live in OP? Cant you just ensure all entrances are blocked? Are they digging under the fence? Plenty of other simple methods to get rid of it rather than kill it.

I have shot a fox on a farm from about 20 yards bolting with my shotgun, iv also shot a fox at long range for my .17hmr rimfire rifle (capable of killing a fox with good effect upto 140m).
It's more the way you kill it that deems it to be legal/illegal, IE hunting with hounds is illegal, shooting with a gun is not as they are still vermin and is perfectly legal.
