When do you think the best time of the year is to go to Ibiza? I guess any time between the opening parties in June and the closing parties, but that's quite a big time period.

Are there many top DJs over for the opening parties, or do they usually start around July/August?

The opening parties and the closing parties are the best parties, according to someone who goes to Ibiza and similar places multiple times per year, and has done for the last 10 years.

I wasn't sure if the opening parties would be that good. No reason why just something I had in my head. I thought things would get a bit more busy into mid July and August

Top DJs all over from sort of May-closing. There are multiple big named DJs every night.

The guy in question has been to Ibiza every year since '99, at varying times of the year, and swears blind that the opening and closing are the best.

I was going to go in September for the closing parties this year. In one week was Amnesia cream closing, tiesto privilidge closing, eden closing and another big one. However my funds took a beating meaning i couldnt go

That place is more less full booked now, as i have been trying to sort out booking for it today for late July / early Aug

Ive found a nice one in San Antonio Bay, but i am not sure if that too far out the way.

Is a great site to see the lineups, mid June and everywhere is open. I'd avoid Ibiza like the plague in August as it's far too busy.

I'm heading to San Antonio in Sept and will be there a week before the closing parties but it's good as the clubs won't be that packed and the prices of drink etc. will come down a bit. I cannot wait!
