After fitting my waterblock my GTX 280 stopped working, done exactly the same as my old 8800Ultra, couloured screen etc.

I re-installed the drivers etc and it still didnt work, so i tried the oven method, it worked last week on my old 8800Ultra so i done exactly the same with this card and ended up with this

I thought about trying it to see if it worked but i dont want to kill my other hardware, is it worth it??

Atleast one component has suffered terminal damage and looks like you have solder making contact over multiple pathways/SMDs I'm pretty sure its uh toast.

did you wrp it in that foil ....if so i see where you went wrong.....its supposed to be wrapped in a dish towel in a mid heated oven "while off".......

Not wrapped in foil, the foil was covering the tray.

Was in the oven for 10 mins, the same as the 8800, it worked on that, not this one though.

Guesse ill keep it as a coaster :D
