BC2 BETA... Your thoughts and SCREENSHOTS of it

i just got beta version of this game so pretty noob in it, so heres the question how do u use knife and grenade ? do you have to equip them some how ?

Actually, I might be wrong about that. Someone on the EA UK forums said that you need rank 3 to get the M1 Garand.

Edit: Looks like you might need to buy 1943 to get the Garand. :(

Im not sure what the default keys are, but they are not selectable weapons like in previous bf games. Ive got my knife set to thumb button and middle mouse is grenade. Just configure you controls for whatever is comfy, id suggest having knife somewhere easy to get too :p

Hmm, im installing HEROS as we speak but my battlfield vetera rank is still only 1 despite the heros icon being lit up. Although maybe i need to play it? :D
 
Grenade has always been 'F' for me, don't remember changing it :)

I love this game now.

I just wish they would make crouch a toggle instead of a hold-it-down-and-get-cramp button. I even have two crouch buttons now purely so I dont get cramp. And every time I do crouch it turns my mic on (which I dont have) in ventrilo.
 
I bought BF2142 via EA Downloader, but have long ago deleted/uninstalled it. Is there any way of finding out my CD key without downloading the game again?

EDIT: Ignore that, I need my account information. But I can't remember my password :(

WRT the BF Veterans if you're having problems getting it to recognise your game names, try putting them in ALL CAPS or all lowercase.
 
will the final game filter servers based on player levels? Im loving it but i suck at these so it will be a little annoying to end up on servers full of level 20's with gear that can pick off a flys bum cheeks from half a mile away.
 
Hoping the final game comes with server list that doesn't take ages to load or preferably an option to exclude servers BEFORE it refreshes the entire bloody list when it opens. It can take far too long to open and "play now" for the past 6 times has had me on seriously laggy servers before I manually went into the list and picked a UK one which was great!
 
Not sure if its been mentioned, but whats up with the mines, they seem to stay until they are destroyed, layed mines down and died and yet they were still there, lost the front obj and someone took a tank and it blew up, i had switched class by that time.
 
Yeah I've noticed that with the mines, nothing else stays, like C4 or motion detectors. Suppose they are easy enough to spot and take out....
I've only just noticed there is an alloted ammount of tickets for the attackers, lol, man racked up 60+ hours and I only just notice. :D
I thought it was just a random ammount of time. :D
