Police and prosecutors have charged Bradley with almost unspeakable depravity -- holding toddlers upside down and yelling at them while committing sex acts; penetrating a girl's vagina with his hand when she was brought in for a sore throat. This kind of prejudice leaves us unguarded against paedophiles who don't fit that profile, is unfair on people with beards and glasses, and makes it hard for men to be teachers, or to work with children in other capacities. I really don't like this sort of comparison being used.

pedophiles generally experience feelings of inferiority, isolation or loneliness, low self-esteem.

Now to me 1 major contribution to this would be physical appearence due to how school/socioty is. . And a Fat , balding , beareded man with glases who just so happens to be wearing a dennim jacket with mickey mouse on would be the first thing which came to mind compared to a good looking woman.

103 counts of rape ...hmm you would think his license would get suspened pending the outcome of the first accusation or do they just like these things to build up so they can scream to the world how bad things are.

i think it's more than just him that deserves punishment, and to think he could still walk around free when they have video evidence lol....all he has to do is gather some bail money together, not a small amount but hey since he knows he wont be coming back out anytime soon why not make the most of it whilst he's out.

The thing is though your wrong, you including a large majority of society may stereotype people in such a way but that doesn't make it right, if I was to imagine that is how a typical 'sex offender' looks like then half of my old school teachers should be under suspicion, it's such a ridiculous statement to presume you know what a child abuser looks like, I understand the comparison to women as statistically they are less likely to be convicted of such a crime, but to assume that if you look like the man in the article then you are more likely to be a paedophile than say a well dressed and clean cut man is very wrong.

Yes paedophiles can experience feelings of inferiority, isolation or loneliness, low self-esteem etc but that is not always typically present in their demeanour, which is why people from all walks of life have been convicted for child abuse crimes, from judges to clergy men, people that were well respected in their community.

Also keep in mind that not all paedophiles are sex offenders, people that haven't committed any sexually motivated crimes who are paedophiles should not be condemned, too many people assume that if your a paedophile then you most be a child abuser.

Hmmm... 'Pedophile beard' and 'rapist glasses'. He has that bad-boy look all right.

But let's remember that the accused has not been tried yet, although the evidence against him is described as damning.
