On my way to the university graduate school for an all night study session I walked into my local Tescos mini-mart last night to buy some cigs. It was freezing so I had a warm jacket on and a hoody to keep my baldy head warm. As soon as I walked in the security guard by the door clocked me and immediately told me to remove my hood.

I was, offended but unsurprised. I'm a 38 year old 6 foot 1 black male so I clearly have a propensity to rob convenience stores at the end of my road, therefore the security guard was fully justified in launching a pre-emptive strike. Anyway, I smiled at him, politely refused to remove my hood, bought my fags and left without a murmur, while inwardly wanting to wipe the floor with him.

Just wanted to share. :D:mad::rolleyes:

They say that to everyone in my local Tesco wearing a hood, I don't see a problem other than when people like you refuse to remove it?

Good luck walking twice as far for your ciggies when they bar you....

Why be difficult? We all know the rule is pointless, but surely it makes more sense to say "sure" and not cause problems?

Maybe I'm all for an easy life...
