Yep, after the update. Tried adding one friend again and it's was a complete random person.

A few people in my clan have had it happen, looks like just Steam server stuff, hopefully be back on line soon.

Probably just steam servers, as it wont connect me to my community page. Usually doesnt take too long to sort itself out though.

All mine have been deleted too, not that I had many I spoke to so re-adding will be easy enough.

Its a Tuesday which seems to be the day that Valve tend to do updates that make trouble with steam community (and annoyingly the day that I tend to play coop games with a friend via steam chat/voice) though its not usually till around midnight GMT.

*starts the rumor mill* could it be the start of the major visual/functional update thats supposedly coming to the steam client?

Antar sent me a mmsg and it worked but it didn;t come as a normal one.

It came as a "incoming chat request from antar" you share these groups style one
