*** Heavy Rain - Official Thread ***

So are you saying it's my TV???
LOL as you said before the demos the same as everyones, so is the PS3 - the only variable is your settings or your TV or yourself - dont be so quick to blame just the demo itself without trying to adjust it...

Ive tried the demo a few times and not seen it - thought will try again tonight...

ps3ud0

It's nothing to do with being sensitive, it's as plain as day and you cant miss it.
I can only suggest that people who can't see it don't know what it is?

If it had nothing to do with being sensitive to it, everyone would play PC games with vsync off.

I hadn't noticed any screen tearing the few times I played it so I just loaded it up again and played through both sections, keeping an eye out for any.

The crime scene was immaculate. No tearing was occurring for me here.

The sleazy place on the other hand had a little. It happened as I was heading to the door to leave the room but it was very minor indeed. I don't really think I'd notice it if I weren't specifically looking for it as I'm not sensitive/anal about graphics issues.

My order has been dispatched today so will be here tomorrow no doubt :) Looking forward to it.

my copy also on its way :D
Hopefully here by tommorow.

About screen tearing
There was some tearing just briefly during the car scene.

I thought he meant that people were sensitive to seeing it rather than minding it.

I also see bad screen tearing with:

Bayonetta
Drakes Fortune
Assassins Creed

Don't tell me that no one else is having problems with those games either otherwise I will go mad?

AC was terrible, especially when Synchin or what ever it was called. (The really high points)

Drakes Fortune, didn't notice anything really. Bayonetta I have on the Xbox not PS3 so won't comment.

Wouldn't say they were, not a big hardware seller. Mainly games...kinda like Play...and they are allowed so would assume the same.

You will be safe with them for Preorders, genuinely reliable.

Just google "heavy rain screen tearing" and you will see how many people are experiencing this.
I'm aware a lot of people are getting this issue, a review I read even mentioned it. It's just I never noticed it during any of my playthroughs. Maybe I'll find out tomorrow :D
